New music on the blog..
I admit, when I first started listening to ‘Glasvegas’ there wasnt an immediate positive reaction, but they have grown on me. I still think they sound really similar to ‘The Twilight Sad’, the song ‘walking for two hours’ could have been made by either band. The album ‘Glasvegas’ by Glasvegas is pretty good, I’ve had a copy for ages, but not really listened to it until recently. It’s not exactly easy listening, some tracks are pretty god damn depressing actualy(‘Daddys gone’ and ‘stabbed’) – but I would give it an 8/10.
Also, since I’m on the topic of the ‘dear green place’(where the name Glasgow is derived…or vice versa, who knows). I just want to mention another talent. I’m sure I have mentioned him before, but if you havent heard of him. His name is Limmy and he’s fucking funny.
