Needles

Finally had all my vaccines completed today – Hep A and a Hep B vaccine that I forgot about, but had been sitting in the travel nurse’s fridge since September 06. I also got my doxy supply sorted, 130 days worth of antimalarials. I would have preferred Lariam, but I am told I shouldnt use it if I am diving, what a shame, Lariam makes you loopy!

I spotted Robert Carlyle in my doctors waiting room, apparently we have the same doctor. He is the Scottish actor from Trainspotting(Begbie) and The Beach(Daffy), a fair few others too, but those are the two films that I enjoyed the most.

My dad bought me a going away present the other day. A nice new watch! Its the:

I probably wouldn't have picked it, but I'm glad he chose that one, the depth meter, barometer, compass
and altimeter will come in handy in Papua New Guinea.
